Canine Good Citizen Prep Class (Sept 7th)

This 8-week course will guide you through all components of the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. Classes will meet weekly from 3:00 – 4:00 pm for 8 weeks.

Class participants have the option to take the test at the end of the course for an additional $20. 

For the exam, owner/dog teams must demonstrate the dog’s ability to stay, come when called, greet dogs and people calmly while walking with a relaxed leash.

The CGC test is nationally recognized. Many insurance companies, landlords, and businesses view favorably on those that receive this certification.

• Completion of this course and test are required for OAE’s therapy dog program
